Having opened in 2019, Piedmont Hall is a $4 million warehouse renovation that includes backstage support space and production to host a variety of public and private live entertainment events. Located adjacent to White Oak Amphitheatre on the Greensboro Coliseum Complex campus, Piedmont Hall is a multipurpose 20,000-square-foot indoor venue with an open floor plan with multiple levels that can service myriad event configurations. Most concert events are general admission (standing room only).

Where is Piedmont Hall located?

Where can I buy tickets to concerts at Piedmont Hall?

Tickets for Piedmont Hall concerts at available at www.ticketmaster.com or the Greensboro Coliseum Advance Box Office. The Greensboro Coliseum advance box office hours are 12–5 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.. Subject to availability, tickets are also available at the Piedmont Hall Box Office on the night of the event.  

My tickets are at will call, what do I need to bring to pick them up?

All guests picking up tickets at Will Call must show two forms of identification (Photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets) and their ticket confirmation number.

Where should I park?

Parking is available in the lot on the north end of Piedmont Hall, near the venue’s entrance. Additional parking is available in other Greensboro Coliseum Complex parking lots, see this link for more information.

Can I get something to eat and drink at the show?

Yes. We have an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food items. Piedmont Hall includes a restaurant area with tables and chairs in the north end of the venue as well as concession stands at the south end near the stage.

Do you have seats at Piedmont Hall?

Unless otherwise stated we do not have seats for shows as we are a general admission/standing room only concert venue. Select shows do have seats and are sold with reserved seating. GA tickets will have a seat number and a row number listed (for our internal tracking purposes), however they do not bind you to a certain spot in the venue. A small number of tickets for Piedmont Hall’s VIP Premium Lounge are generally available and can be purchased at the entrance to the VIP Premium Lounge inside the venue. The VIP Premium Lounge is located near the stage and includes a private bar with cocktail tables and seating, but not does guarantee every VIP Premium Lounge area ticketholder a reserved seat. Please note that admission to the VIP Premium Lounge requires a VIP Premium Lounge ticket in addition to the general admission concert ticket.

Can I bring my camera? Can I video tape the show? Can I bring my audio equipment?

The Artist dictates our night-to-night camera policy. We generally allow small, personal cameras into the venue. We do not allow professional (long or detachable lenses) cameras into the venue. If you do attempt to bring this type of camera, you will be asked to take it back to your car. There are some artists who restrict ALL cameras. Videotaping is not allowed under any circumstances at any show.  

What is NOT allowed into the venue?

The following items are prohibited from being brought into Piedmont Hall:

  • Alcoholic or other Beverages
  • Artificial Noise Makers
  • Audio or Video Recording equipment
  • Cameras (camera policies vary on an event by event basis)
  • Bags (larger than 10”x10”)
  • Backpacks
  • Beach Balls
  • Canes, Chains or Sticks of any length (non-medical use canes)
  • Cans, Glass or Metal containers
  • Coolers (unless containing medical supplies)
  • Diaper Bags (unless accompanied by a baby)
  • Fireworks or any Explosive
  • Folding Chairs
  • Food and Beverage
  • Helium Balloons
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Knives of any size
  • Laser Pointers
  • Masks
  • Pets (except service animals for patrons with disabilities)
  • Promotional items with commercial identification
  • Tape Recorders
  • Large golf or non-telescopic umbrellas
  • Weapons of any description, including firearms (weapons carried with a permit are also prohibited)
  • Signs, banners, flags or any other items that would either obstruct the view of a patron or serve as a dangerous projectile or security risk.
  • Other items that in the judgment of Coliseum management pose a safety risk or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons.

Once I come into the venue, can I leave and come back?

Piedmont Hall has a no re-entry policy.  

How old do you have to be to attend a show?

Unless otherwise noted, most shows are all ages. All patrons regardless of age must have a ticket to enter the facility. Shows requiring all patrons to be at least 18 or 21 years old will be noted online and will require valid ID for admission.

Do you have accessible seating?

Yes. Patrons who require accessible seating (for a GA event) should  contact Greensboro Coliseum Complex Guest Services Manager Mike Hennis at 336-373-7461 or michael.hennis@greensboro-nc.gov to reserve accessible seating (after purchasing GA tickets).

Can I smoke in the venue?

No. Smoking inside is prohibited by North Carolina State Law.  

Where are the restrooms?

Public restrooms are located on the east and west sides of the venue.

Do you have a dress code?

No specific dress code, but clothing and shoes are required.  

The show I had tickets for was just cancelled - how do I get my money back?

If a show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (artist illness for example) you will be refunded the entire amount (services fees included) of your ticket price via the point of purchase. If you purchased a ticket online through Ticketmaster, your credit card will automatically be refunded (if the show is not rescheduled for a later date). Tickets purchased at the Greensboro Coliseum Box Office must be returned to the Box Office to obtain a refund.

My friend has tickets at will call, but can't make it. Can I pick up his tickets?

The first step in the process is that the original ticket purchaser must to go back to original point of purchase to make the change. (do not contact the Greensboro Coliseum Box Office directly as we will direct you to your original point of purchase.) Thus, if the tickets were originally purchased online at Ticketmaster, the purchaser must contact Ticketmaster directly (800-745-3000) to make any Will Call name changes. If you are a radio contest winner, guest of someone in the band, or a VIP Client, again, please touch base with your original point of contact and they will get in touch with us to make any changes on your behalf. If you purchased your tickets from the box office you shouldn't have an issue with Will Call names as you will leave with your tickets in hand and your confirmation number.

Do you have a lost and found?

If you notice you are missing an item during a show check with any of our event staff. Any items turned into us at the end of a show are held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Administrative Offices. Please call our office at 336-373-7400 or email us to see if we have your item.

What is the Piedmont Hall bag policy?

Bags (no larger than 10" x 10") or diaper bags with an accompanying child are subject to inspection. Bags will cause a delay in the entry process.

All guests and items are subject to a consent inspection upon entering the facility. This consent inspection may involve metal detectors. All small purses and baby bags will be subject to consent inspection, without exception.
