Peso Pluma

Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, known as Peso Pluma ("featherweight"), is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and rapper. He gained recognition with his first two albums, "Ah y Qué?" (2020) and "Efectos Secundarios" (2021). Peso Pluma's collaboration with Raul Vega on the single "El Belicón" became a huge success, achieving 8× Platinum certification. His collaborations with Natanael Cano, including "AMG" and "PRC," gained popularity through TikTok and charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Notably, his collaboration with Eslabon Armado on "Ella Baila Sola" made history as the first regional Mexican song to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Peso Pluma's unique blend of genres, incorporating elements of urban music, trap, and reggaeton, has contributed to the revival of the regional Mexican genre. With his crossover appeal, he has become Mexico's most streamed artist.
