Event Details
Parker McCollum, the genre-defying Texas native, emerged from a blue-collar background on a cattle ranch, finding inspiration in George Strait's "Amarillo by Morning." Starting songwriting at 13 and performing in clubs at 16, he drew influence from Texas troubadours like Townes Van Zandt. After a brief college stint, McCollum dropped out to fulfill a promise to sign a major record deal. His debut album, The Limestone Kid, released in 2015, gained early acclaim. McCollum's follow-up, Probably Wrong: Session One, marked his Billboard chart debut. Signing with Universal Music Group, his single "Pretty Heart" soared to the top of country charts, featured on Gold Chain Cowboy. Recognized as New Male Artist of the Year at the 2022 American Country Music Awards, Parker McCollum's future holds great promise.
