Greensboro Coliseum Complex is keeping up to date with local and state guidelines. We are taking steps and implementing new policies and procedures in order to make your return to live events as safe and enjoyable as possible.

The Guilford County Board of Health has issued a mandate requiring masks be worn indoors effective Friday, August 13, 2021 at 5 p.m.

In addition, vaccination cards or proof of negative COVID test may be required for admission to select shows. Please check the individual event page of the event you are attending for more information.

Here's what we're doing to keep you safe:

Face Coverings

In conjunction with the Guilford County Board of Health’s recent (8/13/21) mandate, masks are required to be worn indoors. All guests must wear a mask to enter indoor events at Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Cloth face coverings are required unless actively eating or drinking. Face coverings with openings, holes or visible gaps will not be permitted.

Vaccination Requirements for Select Events

Please note that select shows will require a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test to attend. By purchasing tickets to the shows listed below, you certify and attest that you and all individuals in your party attending the event(s) will follow the below regulations:

  • All attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination - either the original vaccination card or a printed copy of the vaccination card. A digital copy or photograph of your vaccination card will also be accepted. Or, have received a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before the event and provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue.
  • Unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before the event and will provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue.
  • Unvaccinated fans over 12 years old with a valid medical restriction & medical note will be required to take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before the event(s) and will provide proof of negative result to security prior to entering the venue.
  • Please note, only PCR COVID-19 tests and Antigen COVID-19 tests will be accepted. At home tests will not be accepted, and testing will not be available at Greensboro Coliseum Complex. You must have your negative COVID-19 test results prior to arrival. To find a test site near you, click here

  • These confirmations will apply to all members of your party before they are allowed to enter the event and to any users of the tickets purchased.
  • Guilford County has a temporary mask mandate in place for indoor activities.  You will need to wear a mask to enter the venue for indoor events.

Event Day Health Screenings

Greensboro Coliseum Complex requests our guests and staff to conduct a daily health screening. If you are feeling sick, please stay home. 

Contactless Procedures

Between contactless payment at concessions and easy mobile ticketing options, we're encouraging patrons to use as many contactless procedures as possible.

Mobile Entry allows for a contactless entry without the need of a physical ticket. The ticket taker will scan it as if it was a physical ticket and you’re in! Increased Cleaning and Sanitization

Greensboro Coliseum Complex will increase the cleaning of high-touch surfaces, including seats, restrooms, and common areas throughout the venue, during and after each event.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

Hand sanitizer stations are available for use at all entry points and throughout the venue. 

Other Measures

  • Following new concession requirements as required by the state of North Carolina
  • Encouraging patrons to wash their hands frequently with soap and warm water

COVID-19 WARNING: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. 

By visiting Greensboro Coliseum Complex venues, Greensboro Aquatic Center or the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.  Please keep each other healthy and safe.
