NorthState has been named the exclusive Wi-Fi provider of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Spectators will be able to enjoy NorthState’s Wi-Fi service while at sporting events, concerts and other events throughout the Greensboro Coliseum Complex at no cost.
NorthState, working in conjunction with its NorthState Technology Solutions business unit, designed and installed the Wi-Fi system at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The Wi-Fi service became available at the Coliseum Complex in late February.
“Installing Wi-Fi service in a building as expansive as the Greensboro Coliseum Complex was a huge undertaking and required months of design and planning,” NorthState CEO Royster Tucker III said. “Thanks to the experience and expertise of the NorthState and NorthState Technology Solutions teams, the newly installed Wi-Fi service will make it far more convenient—and fast—for guests to use their mobile devices during events at the Coliseum Complex.”
“Our planning and installation knowledge from the Wi-Fi systems at BB&T Point and at First National Bank Field helped make the Greensboro Coliseum Complex project possible, and we’re thrilled to serve as the exclusive Wi-Fi provider at all three major local venues,” Tucker added. “We’re particularly excited to have Wi-Fi in place at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex for local residents and visitors alike to enjoy at the upcoming ACC basketball tournaments.”
In addition to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, NorthState also installed and has served as the exclusive provider of Wi-Fi service at BB&T Point in High Point since summer 2019 and at First National Bank Field, home to the Greensboro Grasshoppers Minor League Baseball team, since the beginning of the 2018 baseball season.
