The Greensboro Coliseum hosted concerts on three consecutive nights (Sept. 1-3) over the weekend, drawing nearly 36,000 guests.
The weekend was highlighted by two sold-out Latin Music concerts – Peso Pluma on Friday night and RBD on Sunday night. The Peso Pluma concert drew 15,161 fans, the highest-attended Latin music concert in Coliseum history.
“Our success in attracting and hosting huge crowds for top Latin music artists has been steadily growing over the last few years,” said Greensboro Coliseum managing director Matt Brown. “I don’t know of any other market in the country that hosted two sold-out Latin music concerts this weekend. To draw almost 30,000 fans for those two concerts is a tremendous accomplishment and demonstrates the incredible growth and popularity of this genre.”
In addition to the two Latin music concerts, the Coliseum also hosted NC Late Night Music Fest on Saturday night featuring the hip-hop duo City Girls.
