Southeastern Rodeo Association Heritage Rodeo rescheduled for Saturday, July 28

The Southeastern Rodeo Association Heritage Rodeo originally scheduled for June 2 at Greensboro Coliseum has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 28.

Tickets for the June 2 rodeo will be honored at the rescheduled date.

The Southeastern Rodeo Association Heritage Rodeo features professional cowboys performing phenomenal feats of skill as they compete for over $10,000 in prize money in categories such as bull riding, steer wrestling, bare back riding, calf roping, team roping and barrel racing. There are also special performance categories for cowgirls and junior barrel racing for the kids.

The Southeastern Rodeo Association Heritage Rodeo features the African American cowboy and cowgirl to educate the public on the importance of the African American cowboy’s role in helping to tame the Old West. The event is open to all contestants
