Iconic Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solis is celebrating 40 years in the music industry with a highly-anticipated 2017 U.S. Tour that will include a performance at Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
The concert is set to commemorate four decades of musical hits from ‘El Poeta del Siglo,’ who throughout his career has garnered five Latin GRAMMYs and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Considered one of the greatest musical living legends in Latin America, Marco Antonio Solis was awarded last year with Billboard’s Lifetime Achievement Award. But that’s not the first time he’s been recognized by the glossy magazine. In 2010, he was named Billboard's Latin Artist of the Decade for his immense chart achievements, which include 30 record breaking songs that hit the top 10 of Hot Latin Songs. Other notable accolades include 2014’s Pop Male Artist of Year by Premio Lo Nuestro and numerous awards by international festival Viña Del Mar, to name a few.
With 18 studio albums, over 40 million album copies sold and over 300 songs to his name, “El Buki” is considered one of the most influential artists in Latin music. Solis is also the only Latin artist to have 12 albums reach the No. 1 spot in Billboard's Top Albums chart.
Jesse & Joy, with 4 studio albums, winners of 7 Latin Grammys, multiple Diamond and Platinum Certifications will delight their fans with their hit songs, “Espacio Sideral” “Llegaste Tu”, “La de la Mala Suerte” “Corre,” and “Llorar” among many others, in what promises to become unforgettable evenings.
