Flip Force Gymnastics and Flip Force Booster Club along with the cooperation of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau, Greensboro Sports Commission and Marriott Hotels will host the Greensboro Gymnastics Invitational 2010 - one of the largest gymnastics competitions ever held in North Carolina.
This event will attract outstanding boys and girls gymnasts and the best tumbling and trampoline teams from across the United States.
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex's Special Events Center will be the site for this three-day event.
Opening ceremonies, the grand march in of athletes, and a spectacular exhibition and show begin on Friday, February 12th at 5:45pm til 7:00pm.
Show & Exhibition guest include Jason Gatson, former Olympic Silver medalist; Leigha Hancock, stunt double for the TV program “Make it or Break it”; Carlton Morris,Special Olympic Gold Medalist; Justice Frangipane, Trampoline Champion and Rince na H'Eireann, North American Irish Dance Champions; Chris Young, co-owner of Flip Force Gymnastics, 1999 World Championship Team Member and 1999 Pan American Team Member. Over 700 athletes will be attending. Gyms from South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania,Georgia as well as North Carolina will compete.
