Freestyle Motocross Event ON as Scheduled
Submitted by abrown on January 30, 2010 - 12:41pm

As announced earlier today, the Gravity Slashers Freestyle Motocross event tonight at Greensboro Coliseum will go on as scheduled.
We are receiving many calls and e-mails from patrons who are planning on attending and the show will start at 7:30 pm.
Since the event will go on as scheduled, refunds will not be available. However, if you are unable to attend due to the weather conditions, please hold on to your unused tickets and contact the Greensboro Coliseum next week for more information.

i live in lexington nc the roads was bad and a car fliped in my drive way but at least i might get to go to the circle
Yes, exchanges for Circus tickets can be done in person at the Coliseum Box Office. Box office hours are 11 AM - 6 PM, Monday-Saturday. Seat locations will depend on availability and the value of your Motocross ticket(s).
Hello can i exchange my unused tickets in person? I would like to get tickets for the circus. Would i be able to see what seating is available and choose my date and time?
Hello All - if you have not already seen it, details on exchange of unused tickets has been posted here.
I would like to know about is an exchange is going to be possible for another event. My tickets were at will call so all I have is a confirmation number>
I was unable to get out of my driveway out in Stokes county to attend this event.I would like to be able to exchange the tickets for another event or get some kind of refund. We can not control the weather & highway patrol was advising you to stay odd roads.
please contact me about your plans for exchange of events.
Hi, i live in Trinity, NC and the back roads and most of the main roads have not been cleared off which means its very unsafe. I hope to get info what i need to know for a refund or exchange to another event! Thanks...
In response to some posts we have received that have questioned the Coliseum hosting tonight's Motocross event...to further explain what had been poster earlier...in a situation like this, the decision of whether or not an event will take place is made by the event promoter, not the Coliseum. We have contracts with individuals/organizations to rent our venues on specific dates and if they choose to go ahead with their event, we are obligated to fulfill our part of the contract.
Prior to the storm even hitting on Friday night, the Motocross track had begun to be set up and the riders and event promoter staff were already heading to Greensboro...in addition, the promoters have already invested considerable resources promoting and advertising the event for months. For a touring event such as this that has a nationwide schedule booked months in advance, it's not as simple as "postpone" or "pick another date" as some have suggested.
We understand if some individuals are not comfortable traveling, but many people have already begun to arrive. We received numerous calls and e-mails today from patrons who wanted to confirm the event was taking because they were planning to still come.
As we had previously stated, since the event is going on as scheduled, refunds will not be available. However, we will work with those who were unable to attend to exchange unused tickets for a future similar event. Please contact us next week if you would like to explore this option (we are still working out details on this at this time).
Thanks for everyone's feedback...obviously this is far from an ideal situation but the promoters are committed to providing the show for those who were interested in coming.

Please advise that we cannot attend the Freestyle Motorcros event tonight because Travel is not safe and is not possible for us. The Highway State Patrol has advised against travel as well.
Is there a way to recieve a refund or credit for future events?
Thank you

I live in the NC mountains and a trip to Greensboro for the Motorcross event is not an option (15+ inches of snow) My tickets are at the will call window. I feel that due to the weather conditions ( the state authorities telling everyone to stay home) I should get a refund of the tickets!
we cannot go cause of the weather we cant get out call next week for ?
I am unable to bring my son to this event due to the weather. We are both disappointed, but we live several miles from the coliseum and it just isn't safe to try and travel so far under these conditions. My tickets were to be picked up at Will Call, can I not just cancel them?
We live in Thomasville and the roads are extremely bad. What do I need to do to exchange these tickets for another event? What do you do in this case?
I have bought ticket for the Freestyle Motocross Event. And I'm unable to attend the show. Would I be refunded Thank you
Thank you for your time, but I live in Mount Airy, NC one mile from the VA line. I don't want to risk the lives of two adults and three children for this show and also if there was clear roads to the coliseum it would take one hour and 45 mins to get there. i was hurt at work and I am on crutches and this won't make any eastier on me to get in and out, an have to walk on them that far and worry about fallin on the snow and sleet. So if we can get a refund or if another show will be back at a later time that we can see, that will be ok too. If someone can email or contact me back at 336-480-8637 Thank you very much. I will also try to get in contact with the Greensboro Coliseum about this matter. Thanks again
