Coliseum Courts Getting Ready for Busy Basketball Season

One of the annual "summer projects" at the Coliseum is the refinishing of our basketball courts. The courts are assembled in the Special Events Center where they are worked on to make sure they are in top condition for upcoming basketball events including the annual East-West High School All-Star game.
Looking ahead to this Fall and beyond, the Coliseum will have one of its busiest basketball schedules ever. The UNCG Spartans return for their second season at the Coliseum with a schedule that includes defending national champion Duke and three other ACC opponents - Virginia Tech, Miami and Florida State. A full schedule, including Southern Conference opponents, will be announced soon!
In addition to the Spartans, the Coliseum will host the University of North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Texas in December and several other college games that are also still to be announced! And in March, Greensboro will once again live up to its "Tournament Town" reputation when the 2011 ACC Women's and Men's Basketball Tournaments take center stage in the Coliseum.
Friday October 15th at 10am at Ticketmaster and the Coliseum Box Office.

when will the unc vs texas basketball game tickets go on sale dec 18th
The announcement of Duke's schedule is done by the school so you would have to contact Duke athletics regarding that.
They will be playing UNCG at the Coliseum in late December. Details are still to be announced but we anticipate tickets for this game going on sale in October. Please check back with us, or you can sign up on our home page to automatically receive event announcements in your e-mail.
